My name is Kira Petrykowski. I enjoy victim-advocacy, policy, outreach, and everything in between.
I collaborate with survivors, diverse teams, stakeholders and funders. I've worked with organizations like Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Tri-State Trauma Network, Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio, Welcome House, Women's Crisis Center of Northern Kentucky, Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence, and more, either directly or through volunteer service.
Intersectionality & trauma-informed care are at the center of my work. Centering survivors' rights, well-being, and outcomes while promoting individual and collective healing and restorative justice is improving service organizations across the world. I work collaboratively and leverage evidence and cultural responsiveness to innovate service delivery and success.
In my free time, I'm writer, a foodie, an LGBTQ advocate. I volunteer as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and full-spectrum doula. And I'm finishing my Masters of Public Administration at Wright State University.
